I've heard of irony-poisoning; The cumulative effect of insincerity over the course of a lifetime. I've felt it myself, it's so easy to dissociate from my surroundings and act like nothing bothers or interests me. Being Cool™ in, say, the 90s, meant doing the most number of things, being the most extreme and radical and tubular(ugh). Now, being cool is signalled by aloofness, detachment, and irony. There is the slow poison of irony, doomscrolling and hobby-less-ness, loneliness in radically social time.
But, having binged the full episodes of The Fact Zone, I've discovered in myself a different, acute form or irony poisoning. It's the sickening feeling total unreality. The feeling of complete immersion in a deeply cynical world.
